Math Warriors

Henry Ong, Founder of International Scholastic Trust and SIMCC, created Maths Warriors in 2004 to help students get better at mental sums. Since then, schools and competitions have used it to train more than 100,000 students around the world.

Why it works

It makes mental maths feel like a real match.

Mental sums

You keep calculating all game.

Every turn matters. Even when you are not attacking, you are looking for the next number you can make.

Strategy

Big dice do not guarantee a win.

A strong roll helps, but smart players save the right dice and spot exact attacks that other players miss.

Online practice

You can practice your own way.

Play against AI, play with someone beside you, or go online for casual and ranked matches.

Competition

Students already use it in real contests.

Maths Warriors is used in SIMOC and the Singapore National Primary Schools Maths Warriors Challenge. It will also be launched in Cambodia and other countries as a national maths competition.

This site gives you a place to practise first, then play proper online matches when you are ready.

How The Game Works

You can capture by strength or by exact maths.

Each side uses a D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, and D20. Clear the other side's dice to win the round, then win the best of three.

D4 D6 D8 D10 D12 D20
Strength attack

Use one die when your value meets or beats the target.

Mind attack

Use two or more dice to build the exact target with arithmetic.
